COMETIC is the most important manufacturer of HIGH PERFORMANCE cylinder head gaskets. When installing tuning pistons (e. g. WISECO or MTC) HIGH PERFORMANCE head gaskets have to be installed. This is the only way to effectively seal the larger bore diameter and the increasing pressure. For very high compression engines (> 12.5:1, e. g. turbo and compressor) we recommend copper head gaskets. These should be mounted using a special copper paste named GASGACINCH - Order No.: 83-2015.
